- Staff / time cards
- F5 new
- Check date is correct
- Who= staff number
- Enter information as shown on time card (start & finish times for each job, machine charge outs, unallocated time) try and change any overtime to jobs.
- F7 save
- Write in red the hours on the time card (use the hours shown in the red highlighted box and indicate OT, TH, DT etc) NOTE: Hrs will round to nearest ¼ hour.
- If sick or on holiday click on related box and enter code (see below)
- Once you have entered all time cards check by clicking on day (top right) any employee that comes up highlighted in red means no time card has been entered for this employee and you need to chase them up
- At the end of the pay week (being Wednesday)
- Click on Week (just below day) again check that you have an entry for everyone
- Once happy click on paysheet (yellow button to right) (this will save a copy to desktop) this summary is the one we used to send to the accountant but we are no longer using this report but need to print it so the computer knows it is the end of week.

Mon – Fri - 1st 8 hrs at Ordinary time, next 3hrs at Time and a half thereafter double time
Sat – 1st 3hrs at time and a half, thereafter double time
Sun – All double time
If work 10hrs or more on week day entitled to meal allowance and over 5 hrs in weekend (computer will usually tell you when this allowance should be paid)
